Neil Prisco

PROMOTIONS DIRECTOR

Growing up in upstate New York, Neil spent the majority of his life wanting to become a lawyer. It wasn't until he attended Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania that he realized his true passion was storytelling through film. It wasn't long before he started to earn school radio and television management positions eventually culminating in becoming the school’s television station manager in his junior year.

Once graduated, Neil became a production assistant at an NBC/CBS affiliate, and what started out as a part time news camera position eventually grew into doing audio, and newswriting. Eventually leaving the news station for something more creative Neil joined the staff at VIA studios. Here, Neil has enjoyed a more open creative atmosphere and has become a studio director and longform editor. In 2007 Neil recieved a telly award for his audio work on Gino Merli: The Healing Hero, and has gone on to direct and edit national pledge programs for PBS including Connie Talbot's Holiday Magic.
